Edward x Reader FMA: Tangled Wires Pt. 14

~~~the next day~~~
You and Al were sitting at the dinner table after cleaning up the house. Al had carried his older brother to his bed after finding him in such a condition. Last, night you looked closely to Alphonse and noticed his left eye was somewhat clouded over. He also noticed that your right eye was the same. I told him that you offered to take some of his exchange. He was particularity 'happy' with what you had told him.

"Brother sure got heavy!" Al laughed tried to lighten up the mood and change the subject.

"It's my fault..." You whispered. You ignored Al's comment.

"no, it's not, [first name]." Al tried to reassure you.

"If I had thought about him instead of myself, I wouldn't have left him. Now he's worse..." You started crying.

"It's not-" Al was interrupted by a knocking on the door.

"Hey, Ed? Are you up?" It was Colonel Mustang. You opened the door, afraid of his reaction from the sudden disappearance. Hawkeye was there too. Both of their eyes were wide with shock of your return.

"Long time, no see, Colonel and Lieutenant." You smiled. "But, I don't think I'm not the person you should be surprised to see." You laughed and moved out of the way to let them in. They both gasped at the sight of Alphonse sitting at the table.

"Hey Colonel." He smiled and stood up.

"Alphonse? Is that really you?" I had never seen you in your body. Only in your armor." Mustang was slightly confused.

"That's Alphonse?" Hawkeye was in total shock. Then she looked at you and noticed your stomach.

"[first name] are you pregnant?" She asked. Once the Colonel heard the question he looked at me with wide eyes once he saw my stomach.

"uhh...yes" You smiled at the lieutenant. Mustang gave you a devilish glare as he put on his glove.

"I'm going to burn him..." Mustang said in a voice that matched his glare. He started walking towards his bedroom.

"Ah! No! Don't do that!" You were trying to hold the man back. "You can't just assume it's Edwards child!" you added. He stopped and looked at you.

"Well if it isn't Fullmetal's then who's is it?"  He asked. Oddly, you didn't think that Mustang was upset because of jealously form the passed but because you turned more into a daughterly figure then anything.

"Weelllll...I didn't say he isn't the father..." You looked away. He started walking to Ed's bedroom again.

"No! No! No! No Need!! Stop! Don't wake him up!" You were trying to hold the Colonel back again. You could here Hawkeye and Alphonse laughing in the back round.

"What's all the noise?" Ed opened the door, rubbing his eye. "Colonel what are you-" He saw you.

"...[first name]?..." he asked. He looked at you closely. You smiled and greeted him, "Long time, huh?" His face almost seemed astonished at you.

"Well I should be getting back to command. Lieutenant, let's go." And they left.

"Alphonse it back too..." You told Ed. His eyes widened. And he ran out to see his long lost younger brother. For hours they laughed and smiled while they caught up. You were snacking on bread as you were cooking.

"Hey! [first name], why are you eating when cooking dinner can't you wait?" he jokingly asked. You shook your head since you had bread in your mouth.

"You mean you  haven't noticed nii-san?" Alphonse looked at Ed.

"Noticed what?" Ed looked confused.

"Look at her stomach, she's pregnant, idiot" Al laughed. Ed looked at your stomach with wide eyes. You laughed at the look at his face and how he blushed, knowing it was his.
